our story.
On November 10th, 2023 we were married by our pastor overlooking the beautiful mountains of Breckenridge, Colorado. We were surrounded by 35 close family members and our photographers. Prior to the ceremony, Ben spent hours revising vows he'd prepared for weeks. When his big moment came, he closed his vow book and spoke from the heart. Our well-planned ceremony became spontaneous and improvised. It was an experience we wouldn't trade for the world, but you had to be there.

While photography's been long established as a wedding necessity, videography's become increasingly popular as an additional must-have. Despite it's growing popularity, some opt out of video coverage because it feels like overkill. Unfortunately at the time, we actually agreed with this sentiment. The goal for our wedding was to feel more present, to focus on the beauty of the moment, and for our guests to experience it without distraction. Like others, we decided that photography alone would get this job done.
After our wedding day we realized that while photography acts as a window into our memories, the right video actually puts you there. When looking through our wedding album we're left longing to experience the moments that weren't staged. Video gives us the ability to go through the motions, to hear our voices, and to evoke the elevated emotions felt in that fleeting moment. And no matter how distant those memories become, video allows us to reflect on those memories exactly as they happened.
